Product Case Study

01. Problem Discovery

The Burden of Complex Systems

Small and mid-sized companies often just need a straightforward way to track daily tasks and manage employee workloads. However, the market is saturated with heavy, complex enterprise systems that require extensive onboarding, bloated features they will never use, and mandatory app installations.

Overkill Software

Most task trackers are built for massive enterprises, overwhelming everyday employees with unnecessary jargon and complex menus.

App Download Fatigue

Forcing employees to download and update heavy APKs or desktop apps creates friction and IT support headaches.

02. Product Solution

A Simple, Browser-Based Task Manager

Bvue42 Lite is designed purely for simplicity. It provides exactly what a company needs to assign and track tasks without any of the bloat.

Minimalist UI

A highly simplified design that anyone in the company can learn to use in under 2 minutes.

100% Web-Based

Accessible from any browser. No need to download or update an APK to check tasks.

Core Task Tracking

Focuses purely on what matters: who is doing what, and is it done yet.

03. Execution & Architecture

Accessible & Responsive

Mobile-Ready Web App

Functions perfectly on mobile browsers, eliminating the need for a dedicated app store download.

Intuitive Interactions

Built with a straightforward interface so non-technical employees feel immediately comfortable.

Fast Performance

Lightweight codebase ensures fast loading times even on average office networks.

04. Impact & Metrics

Streamlined Operations

High Employee Adoption

By removing the requirement for APK downloads and complex training, company-wide usage becomes immediate.

Reduced IT Overhead

No device-specific installations or troubleshooting means management saves hours on technical support.

Part 2

Product Requirements Document (PRD)

Documented by Kartik Gunjal | Status: Live

PRD 01. Objective

To deliver a simple, frictionless web application for small and mid-sized companies to track and manage employee tasks. The system must prioritize a clean UI design and function entirely within the browser to eliminate the need for APK downloads or complex enterprise setups.

PRD 02. User Personas
Primary User

The Mid-Sized Company Employee

Needs to know what their assigned tasks are for the day without navigating a maze of menus or downloading special software to their personal or work phone.

Secondary User

The Team Manager

Wants to assign tasks and see completion status at a glance without paying for or configuring a heavy, bloated project management suite.

PRD 03. Core Features & User Flow

Feature A: Universal Web Access

  • Requirement: The app must be fully functional via standard web browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge) on both desktop and mobile.
  • User Flow: Employee receives a link → Logs in via browser → Views dashboard immediately. No APK download prompt ever appears.

Feature B: Simplified UI Task Board

Easy Assignment

Managers can create and assign a task with just a title, description, and assignee. No mandatory complex fields.

Clear Tracking

Employees see a straightforward list of their to-dos and can mark them complete with a single click.
